It’s rude to start without small talk, so how the heck are ya?
How long have you pursued writing?
I have now been, for the past eleven years, on a writing trip in a serious way. I started with scripts and later on with thrillers. I was published by an editorial, which I learned doesn´t mean you are in good hands. There was a big communication issue – today, I think it was the main fault of my agent – and after the second book I canceled the contract and took the hard road, publishing the third on my own. I wrote a new urban-fantasy romance script and while working on that another idea popped in: the series I am writing at right now.
What’s your favorite genre to read? What do you love about it?
I read everything that distracts me for a while and keeps my mind from thinking. Lately I have read some urban-fantasy books from Lara Adrian. I loved her books because they are not too out of touch with the real world. And of course suspense.
What’s your favorite genre to write? How do you put your personal flavor on it?
It´s urban-fantasy, paranormal romance because I can let my imagination run wild here and there and put more into it than in suspense genre where you have to stick to reality. But I couldn´t help myself and I put my suspense soul also into the series. J
If you had to pick five of your favorite books and/or series, what would they be?
Difficult to say, there are so many good books out there. But definitely The Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian, Diana Gabaldon´s books, Abandoned by Cody Mc Fadyen, Blood-Red-River by Jean Christoph Grangé.
Speaking of books, let’s talk about yours!
What’s yours called?
It´s the Demon of Dreams series. Vol. I – V. Meet me in the Dark, Prince of the Dark, Voices of the Dark, Queen of the Dark and Light of the Dark (I am working on the last one right now, it will be published in April, this year).
Urban –fantasy, paranormal romance with suspense.
How’d you get the idea?
The idea came in a dream J.
You have two sentences to hook us into reading it. Go!
What if you think you’re dreaming, but you‘re not? What if you wake up in the morning and your body is covered with scratches that you cannot explain?
If you had to pick a favorite character in the book (good guy or bad), who would it be and why?
It´s Payton Eltringham. He is handsome and has no limit in wickedness. When he is nice you have to be worried.
Is it available now? Link it! If not, when?
Yes, they are all available now, except the last one, on Amazon as an e-book and in paperback
